Metro Vancouver could soon be seeing its first snowfall of the season.
According to Environment Canada, periods of rain or snow are expected Friday night.
The temperature will be 0°, if not lower, meaning that even if it doesn’t stick, chances of overnight flurries are very possible.
Periods of snow are also expected throughout the day on Saturday, although with a high of 5°, it’s unlikely.
Don’t be expecting a White Christmas anytime soon, however. According to The Weather Network, Canada could be in for a milder winter than normal – BC included.
In any case, be prepared for trace amounts of snow (or slush) on Vancouver roads come Saturday morning.
