Sneak peek at Vancouver Canucks single-game ticket prices for 2025-26

Vancouver Canucks single-game tickets go on sale to the general public this week, and on Tuesday, we got a sneak peek at prices.

Season ticket members were given a pre-sale opportunity for single-game tickets on Tuesday morning. Not surprisingly, that revealed some pricey tickets.

Getting in for less than $100 is now a rarity for Canucks games at Rogers Arena.

With the help of a Canucks season ticket member, we saw just five games available in that price range: Buffalo Sabres (Dec. 11), New York Islanders (Jan. 19), San Jose Sharks (Jan. 27), Dallas Stars (March 2), Anaheim Ducks (March 24).

The cheapest price we found was $95.

The cheapest get-in price for the home opener, Oct. 9 against the Calgary Flames, is currently $147. The cheapest available ticket to see the Montreal Canadiens (Oct. 25) is $219, while the Toronto Maple Leafs (Jan. 31) are listed for $243.

The most expensive seat we found was $771, in the last row of section 107, for the Leafs game.

It should be noted that in some instances, the cheapest sections may have already sold out.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, but fans can get advance access a day earlier on Wednesday, Aug. 8, by signing up for the Canucks Priority Access List.

Once tickets are made publicly available, we should begin to see what the resale market looks like. In recent years, that has actually resulted in some cheaper-priced tickets becoming available.

Canucks season ticket members pay reduced per-game rates on their ticket packages, whether that be full-season ticket memberships, or half- and quarter-season packs.

The Canucks have discontinued selling quarter-season packs to new ticket buyers. They appear to be instead pushing three-game packs harder than they have in previous years.

New this year are “partial plans,” which were quietly unveiled recently.

Two eight-game packs, which each include a preseason game, are available starting in the $1,022-$1,043 range.

Season ticket members sounded off last February, when they learned the Canucks were jacking up ticket prices for a second straight year. Fans seemed to accept a significant ticket-price increase in 2024, following a first-place finish and a trip to the playoffs.

The price increase in 2025 was met with far more criticism, given that the team missed the playoffs. Making matters worse, the Canucks saved their worst for their home fans, posting the sixth-worst home-ice record in the NHL.

There are plenty of questions surrounding the Canucks as they inch closer to the 2025-26 season. Will Elias Pettersson bounce back? Can Thatcher Demko stay healthy? Is a trade coming for a second-line centre?

If the answer to all those questions is “yes,” we could see the team return to the playoffs in 2026.

Win or lose, at least there’ll be new comfy seats, with cupholders.

The Canucks are in the process of replacing over 18,000 maroon seats, which have been in place since the arena opened in 1995.
