Vancouver Canucks release schedule and here's when tickets go on sale

The Vancouver Canucks released their 2025-26 schedule, doing so with the help of a local celebrity.

Vancouver rapper bbno$, who once performed on the ice at Rogers Arena in full Canucks gear, was the star of the team’s schedule release video.

The Canucks will begin the season at home to the Calgary Flames on Oct. 9, before a road game against the Edmonton Oilers on Oct. 11 and a Thanksgiving afternoon game against the St. Louis Blues at Rogers Arena on Oct. 13.

That’s when the Canucks will begin to pick up air miles, with a five-game road trip taking them through Dallas, Chicago, Washington, Pittsburgh, and Nashville.

Other notable dates on the schedule include Oct. 28, when J.T. Miller makes his return to Vancouver as a member of the New York Rangers.

The Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs will each play Saturday 4 p.m. games at Rogers Arena, on Oct. 25 (Montreal) and Jan. 31 (Toronto). Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers visit twice, on Oct. 26 and Jan. 17.

Will this be Alex Ovechkin’s last season in the NHL? If so, the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer will make his final visit to Vancouver with the Washington Capitals on Jan. 21.

Sidney Crosby is also in the twilight of his career, and the Pittsburgh Penguins play at Rogers Arena on Jan. 25.

There’s a large gap in the schedule this year, as the NHL pauses its season for the Winter Olympics for the first time since 2014. Consequently, there are no Canucks games scheduled between Feb. 4 and 25.

“There’s nothing like starting the season at home, surrounded by our incredible fans,” said Canucks president of business operations Michael Doyle. “This year will be extra special as we mark 30 years of unforgettable memories at Rogers Arena. We’ve made some exciting changes, like our new premium black seats, to make the experience even better for everyone who walks through our doors. But more than anything, we’re looking forward to sharing another season of Canucks hockey together – full of passion, pride, and moments we’ll never forget.”

When single-game Canucks tickets go on sale

Along with the schedule announcement, the Canucks revealed when single-game tickets go on sale.

Single-game tickets will be available for purchase to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. PDT on Aug. 7, but fans can get advance access on Aug. 6 by signing up for the Canucks Priority Access List.

Season ticket members and partners will get even earlier access to tickets on Aug. 5.

While the Canucks haven’t released single-game prices yet, if reports from season ticket members are any indication, tickets will go way up in price for a second straight season.
