A pair of Vancouver Canucks legends have lent their support to our hardworking healthcare workers, who are under extra stress during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each speaking from their own home, Henrik and Daniel Sedin shared this heartwarming message:

“I would like to thank all healthcare workers out there for the sacrifices you make to keep us safe,” said Daniel Sedin. “You are the heroes that will get us through this. From my family and I, thank you.”
“To all the doctors and nurses that are working so hard to help people right now, you are truly our heroes. We are so grateful,” said Henrik Sedin. “Stay positive and hang in there. We are at home thinking of you every day. Thank you.”

The Canucks are also encouraging fans to take part in the nightly 7 pm applause, which has broken out on balconies all over Vancouver in salute of healthcare workers.
While the status of the conclusion of the 2019-20 NHL season is still uncertain, the Canucks have remained active on social media, with players sharing messages with fans from their homes.
