Sea otters get sweet summer treats at the Vancouver Aquarium (VIDEO)

It’s a good time to be a sea otter at the Vancouver Aquarium.

This week, some of the facility’s rescued critters were treated to fish-tastic treats to help them beat the heat — and aquarium staff captured in on video!

In the two-minute clip, Tanu, Katmai, and Rialto can be seen cooling off with a colourful assortment of “popsicles.” A spokesperson explains that the treats are with clam, a fish fillet, and clam paste — YUM.

But just take a gander at how otter-ly adorable it is.

Visitors at the Vancouver Aquarium can get to know all the rescued animals and their stories during daily sea otter talks.

The Vancouver Aquarium is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. And if you can’t make it in, you can check in from home with the sea otter live cam.

And just in case you were wondering, sea otters love the snow as well.
