Here's what the Celebration of Light fireworks look like from a helicopter (VIDEO)
While what seemed like the entirety of Vancouver came out to crowd the city’s beaches and rooftop patios, a few lucky firework viewers were free from fighting for every inch of sandy real-estate—they instead had a sky-high view.
Stu Hunter was among a the passengers of a helicopter on Saturday night, where he experienced Japan’s Celebration of Light performance from on high.
Luckily enough for the rest of us, Hunter captured the event on a live Facebook video.

Hunter found a place on the flight via the Plaid for Dad campaign by Prostate Cancer Canada, an organization raising funds for prostate cancer research. Hunter was joined by Will and Grace‘s Eric McCormack, the National Ambassador for Prostate Cancer Canada.
“Such an amazing cause and wow, I can’t describe the experience. Blew me away,” Hunter wrote to Daily Hive.
