Best BC Ceramics – Potters Guild of BC Members’ Exhibition
What: The Potters Guild of BC and Lipont Gallery present the exhibition, The Best of BC Ceramics. Featuring over 40 BC-based ceramic artists and over 300 pieces of ceramic art.

25th Annual Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields
What: FarmFolk CityFolk is hosting its annual food celebration, Feast of Fields. This large-scale event is the longest-running local food and beverage festival in Canada — since 1995, almost 60 of these events have been hosted across the province of British Columbia. The festival highlights the importance of farm-to-table relationships between people and their food, and celebrates the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table, and farm and city folks.
Dress up in your fancy attire — don’t forget to take a glass of wine and a napkin — and get ready to enjoy some gourmet, farm-fresh bites. Guests are invited to travel from tent to tent to taste gourmet creations from some of the Lower Mainland’s best chefs, bakers, and brewers.

Engelbert Humperdinck
What: Engelbert Humperdinck is an English pop singer and Grammy nominee. He has sold over 140 million records, won a Golden Globe, and has stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Las Vegas Walk of Fame.

Richmond Sunflower Festival 2019

What: The first-ever Richmond Sunflower Festival will feature 20 different varieties of sunflowers and dahlias on over eight acres of land for you to enjoy, with multiple #instaworthy moments. Take a train ride through the vineyard and enjoy a tractor ride to the sunflower fields. You can also enjoy a cool drink or ice cream at the vendors at the festival, including a meal on weekends at the festival’s food trucks.

Admission: $10 on weekdays and $15 on weekends, plus tax
Rio Samaya Band
What: Steveston Folk Guild presents Rio Samaya Band in concert, made up of Latin duo Pancho and Sal Pancho. Pancho is the lead singer and songwriter. Pancho and Sal play a variety of instruments, including guitar bombo, chachas, accordion, quena, flute, and more.

Community Movie Night – Finding Nemo
What: City Centre Community Centre hosts a free screening of Finding Nemo on September 19, and all ages are welcome. Light refreshments will also be provided.

2019 Grand Prix of Art

What: Artists of all experience and age levels race against the clock in a three-hour painting challenge during the Grand Prix of Art. The public is welcome to view the artists in action at the 40 painting sites. Afterwards, the paintings will be exhibited to the public from 3 to 6 pm on Saturday, September 21, and will also be on display at Britannia Heritage Shipyards National Historic Site on Sunday, September 22 from 12 to 4 pm.

On The Table Community Breakfast

Penn & Teller
What: Penn & Teller have been entertaining audiences for over 40 years, world tours, runs on Broadway, Emmy awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and more. The comedy magic duo perform at Rover Rock on September 27.

River’s End Fisher Poets – Richmond Culture Days
What: Current and retired commercial fishers share creative writing about their shared industry in River’s End Fisher Poets. Hosted by fisher poet Wilfred Wilson and part of Richmond Culture Days.
