On Friday, Rich Brian, along with fellow 88 rising member August 08, performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Vogue Theater.

Rich Brian has been on the rise ever since the release of his song “Dat $tik,” which brought him internet fame, and recognition from some of North America’s hip-hop artists. Since then, Brian has experimented with a variety of genres, all of which mix wonderfully in his new album “The Sailor.”

This show was another reminder of why he’s one of the top artists in Asia, and why he’s also making massive waves in North America. Brian’s set included all of the bangers which brought him into the spotlight, as well as the heartfelt songs which will keep him there.
