Remi Patisserie is soft opening on October 8 in Vancouver

Highly anticipated local bakery, Remi Patisserie, is finally gearing up to open its doors. The 511 W 7th Avenue shop will be celebrating its soft opening this week.

Remi will initially offer to-go only, and it’s looking like pre-orders are your best bet to secure the goods while the business is ramping up.

Owner Remi Ho’s pop-up series has been offering patrons his hand-crafted desserts inspired by his Chinese heritage and birthplace, French Guiana, since 2019.

Over the past year, he has partnered up with local food establishments around town like Sweet Barrel, Rocanini Coffee Roasters, and Paragon Tea Room to host events.

Ho’s treats were a serious hit with Vancouver locals, so it’s exciting to see the opening of an official  storefront.

Remi Patisserie soft opens on October 8 and will be open Thursday to Sunday from noon to 5 pm.

It’s recommended you pre-order to ensure you get your treats, especially for large cakes, which come in varieties like Thai Tea, Earl Grey Apple & Pear, Matcha Black Sesame, and Mango Sago.

The “Small Stuff” menu, as Ho coins it, has got some pretty big flavours to dive into.

Offerings such as Cloud Cakes, Vanilla Strawberry Flans, Hojicha Flans, Crispy Salted Yolk Financiers, and Matcha Mochi Eclairs (just to name a few) will all be up for order on the limited opening menu.
