Epic Lower Mainland haunted house returns for the fall

The Reapers Haunted Attraction has announced its return to the Lower Mainland for 2018.

Entering its 26th year, the theatrical horror experience and maze of terror are quite possibly the scariest attractions in Chilliwack.

The annual event is run by Lisa and Gary Moran, two Chilliwack residents who affectionately refer to their visitors as victims.

Victims of the event will be invited into an asylum-themed haunt, bringing the horrors of crazed patients, twisted doctors and hospital staff to life.

If the haunt isn’t scary enough, a 22,000-sq-ft maze of terror will be sure to frighten anyone who ventures inside. The maze will have little to no light and offers a chainsaw massacre experience, complete with real chainsaw.

Admission to Reapers or the maze of terror begins at $11 for single-person admission. Guests can also enjoy both experiences for $20 and can receive $1 off with the donation of a non-perishable food item.

Anyone who wishes to pay a visit should be advised that the location can often run out of parking as early as 8 pm. Patrons are asked to carpool when possible to ensure visitors find a spot.

Opening night takes place on Sunday, September 30 and the event runs until Wednesday, October 31.
