Ramen Takanotsume is permanently closing its Vancouver location

Aug 25 2020, 3:03 pm

Ramen Takanotsume has announced it will be closing its Vancouver location by the end of the month.

Citing the ongoing pandemic as the reason for shuttering, the Bidwell Street location was theĀ Hokkaido, Japan-based brand’s first international location.

Ramen Takanotsume first opened this outpost in 2018. It had taken over the space from another ramen shop,Ā Ramenman,Ā which closed in winter 2018.

While we’ll certainly miss the West End shop, we can still get our Asahikawa ramen fix at Taka’s Richmond location.

You can find it open on the second floor of theĀ Aberdeen Centre seven days a week.
