While we love, and I mean love, our local eateries, we can’t help but notice there are some seriously buzz-worthy food and beverage brands planning to enter the BC market.

Here are a few we are truly excited to see operating soon. Check out these three hype international restaurant brands we can’t wait to open in Vancouver.

Momofuku Noodle Bar is slated to open in Vancouver House later this year. The Vancouver outpost will be based upon the OG New York Momofuku Noodle Bar “while celebrating the best products the Pacific Northwest has to offer.” Momofuku was founded by chef David Chang in 2004 in New York City. Since then, the Momofuku group has opened nearly 12 concepts around the globe in places like LA, Sydney, Las Vegas, and Toronto.

The hugely popular purveyor of Jolly Crispy Chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and hot-dog-studded Jolly Spaghetti will be opening right in the middle of our city — downtown on Granville Street. Jollibee is the largest fast food chain brand in the Philippines, operating a Philippines network of more than 1,400 stores.

While one famous chicken chain is planning a partial exit from the Canadian market, another one is just getting started. Although we don’t know exactly when or where, Los Angeles-based fast-casual concept Dave’s Hot Chicken is planning to open 30 locations in Canada. Dave’s will initially be focusing on opening locations in BC and Ontario.
