Japanese ramen king to open new location in Metro Vancouver

Japanese ramen king Ramen Taka has revealed it will be opening a new location in Metro Vancouver, and soon at that.

This brand hails from Takasu, Hokkaido, and opened its first international location in Vancouver last spring, the second location for the purveyor will be opening in Richmond at Aberdeen Centre.

Known for its ramen made with flavoured Hokkaido lard (which shields the pure broth from cooling down quickly), and Asahikawa noodles, Ramen Taka’s Bidwell Street location has been a hit with locals and visitors alike, so the Richmond shop should be no different.

The Ramen Taka team told Daily Hive the are aiming to have the new location open in February 2019. We’ll keep you posted on opening details as they come.
