Vancouver’s new Spanish tapas bar is officially open, and we can tell you the eats taste as authentic and delicious as they look.
Located at 201 East 7 Avenue (On Main Street, just across the street from Rumpus Room 2.0), the new 1,539-sq-ft space seats approximately 58 people and is open daily from 4 to 11 pm.Â

Boasting a menu of eats that taste like they’re straight from Spain, Como offers a selection of conservas and delicious tapas dishes and plates like Patatas Bravos, Goat Cheese-stuffed Peppers, Croquetas de JamĂłn, and Chicken Livers to name a few.
Add the drool-worthy selection of eats – and life-changing meatballs, we’re told – to the fact that Como offers Spanish Vermouth and sherry on tap, and you’ll likely be running to grab a seat in the stunning and cozy dining room in Mount Pleasant.
Patrons can expect a soundtrack of disco funk soul at this spot, along with constant soccer games on the TVs. Soccer is a huge theme here, as you will definitely as soon as you enter the bathrooms.
It’s safe to say you’ll need to head here a few times before you get a full taste of what Como Taperia has to offer – good thing it officially opens to the public on November 26.
