Rainbow beautifully frames Vancouver's North Shore

A beautiful rainbow was visible from downtown Vancouver Friday, adding a pop of colour to an otherwise rainy late summer’s day.
The streak of colour framed the North Shore perfectly. It was visible to onlookers who looked northwest from the city’s downtown core.
The rainbow happened on the same day Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement for Metro Vancouver, warning about the possibility for heavy downpours.
