Win a surf trip to Costa Rica through this Instagram photo contest
Calling all photographers! There’s an exciting new photo contest for you to enter, and it officially kicks off today, June 26.
Brought to you by Postmark, this #SevenDayWeekend Photo Contest runs for seven consecutive weeks and gives those who enter the chance to win amazing prizes from much-loved brand partners along the way.
This Instagram contest aims to remind people to enjoy life seven days a week, not just our beloved weekend days.
During the week, contestants are asked to post Instagram photos around the chosen theme and tag #SevenDayWeekend and @postmarkbrewing in order to be considered.
Each week is themed differently and the winner will be chosen on Tuesdays at 9 am sharp.
Guest judges will choose winners weekly, and those lucky folks will win some epic swag from local companies like Herschel, Native Shoes, and HITCASE to name a few.
From the batch of winners chosen in the first rounds, one grand prize winner will be selected by the public for a two-week surf trip for two in Costa Rica from Beach Travellers.
But there’s a prize for the runner-up in the finals, too. That person will receive a five-day surf escape in Tofino courtesy of Hastings Overland and Pacific Surf Company.
For this portion of the contest, contestants can share and promote their photos using their own social networks and ask for votes for the grand prize surf trips.
This week’s theme is mountains, so be sure to post your favourite scenic pic, tag accordingly, and it could land you some seriously sweet prize packs.

To enter for your chance to win the prizes listed above, you must do the following:
- Post a photo you’ve taken on Instagram that corresponds with the weekly theme
- Tag #SevenDayWeekend and @postmarkbrewing
Contest entries will be accepted each week from Tuesday–Tuesday. Each Tuesday at 9 am guest judges pick the top photo of the week and that person is the Weekly Winner.
From the weekly winners, grand prize winners will be chosen by public votes.
