Here's everything you can eat at The Deighton Cup 2018
Get your chicest hats and flashiest bowties out! The Deighton Cup – Vancouver’s most stylish day at the races – is coming back for summer 2018 and we’ve got our champagne and fascinators ready.
This year, the event is celebrating its 10th anniversary and it’s all going down on July 21 at Hasting Racetrack.

One of the best parts of the entire action-packed glamourous day has got to be the food.
This year, Deighton’s stepped up the food game even more than in past years. Expect more lunch options and the ability to choose your own adventure.
The event is framed around a “sport of kings” theme, so there’s going to be a feast fit for royals up for grabs come July 21. Cup goers who have a Festival Pass or access to the VIP Trackside Group Booth areas will have a unique pre-order food style.
This spread will include Earls’ new Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, their signature Sante Fe Chicken Salad, and a Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl too.
In the Grandstand and Trackside group areas, Hawksworth Restaurant will be there offering a deconstructed sandwich, antipasti platter, watermelon and feta salad, and dessert options.

Folks can pre-purchase their Earls or Hawksworth grub to streamline their experience on race day and ensure they get what they want.
There will be several meals for purchase on-site at the Cup including from Chambar Restaurant (Le Poulet Libanais), Dixie’s BBQ (beef brisket), Pawn Shop (tacos), Riz Sushi Bar (sushi doughnuts), Crab Park Chowdery (lobster salad sandwich), Yale Saloon (smoked turkey leg), and Aburi Restaurants will be serving both Aburi Oshi and nigiri sushi.

Maybe the most exciting of all, Fanny Bay Oysters is returning to the event for the 2nd Annual Pearl Schucking Competition, which will go on alongside their Oyster Bar complete with prawn cocktails.
