You can get a pro photoshoot in Vancouver (that's worth up to $350)

Instagram filters, selfie sticks, and strategic use of natural lighting and bathroom mirrors can only take you so far. If you want to look like the model (or the model employee) you know you are, at some point you’ll need to enlist the help of a professional. So we hope you haven’t booked up your weekend yet.

Whether you want a new profile pic, a professional headshot, or a new set of family photos, skilled photographers will be on hand to make your dreams come true this summer, on July 26, at Spotlight: The Art of Photography.

Taking place at the Waterview Special Event Space on Granville Street from 5 to 9 pm, you can attend, channel your inner model self, and have a pro photoshoot done for just $20.

(The typical price you would pay for this outside of the event is anything from $250 to $350. So you can look like a million bucks while saving a couple hundred.)

You’ll be able to choose to get three shots done from five different portrait stations hosted by top local photographers. When you’re done you can admire the stunning views from the event space, or indulge in food from one of the attending local food trucks: Praguery, WakWak Burger, and Chickpea.
