Khatsahlano Street Party lineup announced for 2018

May 24 2018, 1:26 am

The official lineup for the 2018 Khatsahlano Street Party has been announced.

This year’s festival will take place on July 7, 2018, and features headliners Bif Naked, Frazey Ford, and Slow.

The free annual festival will take over 10 blocks along Kitsilano’s 4th Avenue between Burrard Street and Macdonald Street.

As usual, local restaurants and stores along 4th Avenue will be holding sales and giveaways, as well as providing samples and games on the street for everyone to enjoy.

For the first time in the festival’s history, this year’s lineup will feature gender parity.

“We’re conscious of the important discussion regarding gender imbalance at festivals,” says curation team member Justice McLellan of Zulu Records in a release. “But what it really comes down to during the curation process is that there’s a wealth of talented female, male and non-binary artists in Vancouver.”
