Pablo Cheese Tart Vancouver: Inside the first BC location from the brand
The wait is almost over, treat lovers. After several years of patiently waiting, fans of Pablo Cheese Tart can finally expect to see the Vancouver location open its doors this week.
This is our city’s first location of the uber-popular Japanese chain. In Canada, it currently operates locations in Alberta and Ontario.
We first shared this news in Spring 2021, when the company told us it was set to open not one but three locations in our area, including Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond.

The first outpost from the brand is located at 511 W Broadway, and it’s almost time for you to check it out for yourself.
Dished popped in ahead of the public opening to see what was in store.

The Osaka-based sweet spot is known for its “revolutionary cheese tarts” and cheesecakes in various flavours and sizes.
Classic tarts are made with creamy filling, a crunchy crust, and topped with a glazed apricot jam.
Each location typically offers a full roster of delicious pastries and drinks to customers.
For Vancouver, customers can order a variety of Pablo Cheese Smoothies in flavours like Classic Cheesetart, Chocolate, Ube, and Peach.

From the classic apricot option to matcha, chocolate, or the purple Okinawa benii, there will surely be something here to strike your fancy once it opens.
In terms of pricing, Pablo charges $4.75 for its signature lineup of cheese tarts (original, chocolate, matcha, strawberry) and $4.99 for all the other flavours.
According to the menu we saw during our visit, there will be 15 different cheese tart flavours up for order. You can also buy these babies in bundles: $28 for six minis and $55 for a dozen minis.
The large-format cheese tarts run from $17 to $20.

Pablo Cheese Tart Vancouver officially grand opens on Friday, July 21 between 11 am and 8 pm.
The first 50 customers in line on that day will receive a free large freshly baked cheese tart with a minimum $5 purchase.
