Opus Vancouver wants you to design their next mural
With shops boarding up, new murals are appearing in the city left and right. And if you’ve been wanting to get your work displayed, Opus Vancouver has the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
The boutique hotel is putting a call out to local artists to “spread the love” in a competition to showcase their art on the popular Opus Vancouver wall located in Yaletown.
The current wall art has been tagged in over 100,000 social media posts using #itslovebaby.
It has also been home to murals by artists Olly Fletcher, Cathy High, Tiko Kerr, Angela Grossman, and Atilla Lukacs.

Following the theme of the current murals, Opus is looking for pieces that reflect the idea of spreading love.
The contest launched at 10 am on May 2, and artists can submit an image of their work via email or Instagram direct message until May 15, 2020. The winner’s art will be installed on the mural wall located on Hamilton Street.
