The popular Grouse Grind trail in North Vancouver has been closed following this weekend’s cold snap, which brought sub-zero temperatures to parts of the Lower Mainland.
Metro Vancouver made the announcement on Sunday, adding that the closure would remain in effect for Monday as well due to, “unsafe icy conditions.”
The #GrouseGrind Trail will be CLOSED for the remainder of today and Monday, Oct. 26 due to unsafe icy conditions. If you use the BCMC Route in Grouse Mountain Regional Park, you are advised to use microspikes. Leave enough time to finish your hike before sunset.
