Metro Vancouver bubble tea shop closes original location after 11 years

Restaurants and cafes have been closing all over Metro Vancouver, and now another longstanding spot has closed its doors after 11 years of service.
Ninja Bubble Tea took to Instagram to share that it has closed its Glen Drive location in Coquitlam.
“This isnât just a store â itâs where it all began. This is the spot where we learned the ropes, found our rhythm, and grew alongside the incredible community that supported us every step of the way. The laughter, memories, and milestones weâve shared here will always hold a special place in our hearts,” said the store.
As for a reason for the closure, Ninja Bubble Tea shared that it was due to “changing circumstances.”

However, this isn’t a permanent goodbye for Ninja Bubble Tea. The boba spot said that its locations in Port Coquitlam, Surry, and New Westminster were still going strong,
“Thank you for being part of our story, for believing in us, and for building this incredible community with us over the last 11 years. While this chapter closes, we hope youâll join us as we write the next one,” concluded Ninja Bubble Tea.
