As we all know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could soon be honeymooning at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly be staying at the 6,000 sq. ft. Outlook Cabin known as “The Royal Retreat.
”The lodge boasts “700 acres of year-round luxury mountain resort which wraps around the shores of pristine Lac Beauvert and Canada’s #1 Golf Resort,” in addition to unparalleled scenic views of Jasper National Park.
But apparently, not everyone is as excited as the rest of Canada about the Royal couple shacking up in Alberta for their upcoming honeymoon.
A recent article on the New York Post’s Page Six has referred to the couple’s potential honeymoon locale news as the ‘world’s most boring place’.

If you thought the recent tariff war with the US was bad, think again. Now the US is chirping one of the most beautiful places in Canada.
For starters, the luxurious six-bedroom cabin has already welcomed King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1939 as well as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 2005.
If you’re a Royal family fan, you know how incredible that is.
Secondly, the article didn’t elaborate on what, exactly, is boring about the cabin.
It simply highlights all the features that make the cabin so epic and worthy of the Royal couple, including an enclosed conservatory and veranda, two stone fireplaces, a large terrace, and a full kitchen with a private catering entrance.
Oh, and it’s located in the middle of JASPER FREAKIN’ PARK, which is only a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Yeah, sounds super boring.
But if American’s thought Canadians were polite, they’re in for a surprise – mess with our nature and you’ll feel the full force of a Canuck clap back:

It’s an absolutely gorgeous and special place. If beautiful, magical and peaceful is boring, please take me there!

Great country with civilized people who will leave them alone. Sounds like Heaven….

I’ve been to Jasper twice. I’ve been to NYC once and I’d take the serenity and scenic splendor of the Rockies paradise over the high-density excessiveness of Manhattan any day.

Jasper is not boring at all. Lots of great hiking trails, beautiful lakes and mountains. Top quality restaurant’s and very good people. You should come out here.

I’m pretty sure Americans judge how interesting a place is by how many fast food restaurants it has.

Classic New Yorkers. Have to be constantly entertained by something. They’re like toddlers at a restaurant. Given the choice between a vacation in NYC vs Alberta I’d pick Alberta.

So America, if you want to come after our beloved landscape and refer to it as boring, please note we will *politely* end you.
