If the reports are accurate, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon be honeymooning at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reportedly be staying at the 6,000 sq. ft. Outlook Cabin known as “The Royal Retreat.”

So where is this place?

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, situated in Alberta’s Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is about five hours north-west of Calgary.

The Lodge boasts “700 acres of year-round luxury mountain resort which wraps around the shores of pristine Lac Beauvert and Canada’s #1 Golf Resort.”

The Royal Retreat is right on the corner of the property, soaking in all these views.

According to the Lodge, the Outlook Cabin was recreated from the floor plans of the 1930 original, which was destroyed by fire in 2000.

“Every inch of this prestigious dwelling exudes the elegance and grandeur that has welcomed King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1939 as well as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 2005,” states their website.

“Supreme comfort is present in every detail of the sumptuously comfortable bedrooms, enclosed verandas, and majestic stone fireplace that warms both the dining room and great room – the perfect place to entertain family & friends or celebrate a special occasion.”

Aka, the best spot for a honeymoon.

The Cabin itself has an enclosed conservatory and veranda, with private parking, 2 fireplaces, a large terrace with barbeque, and a full kitchen with private catering entrance (clearly the option for the Royals).

It also has 6 bedrooms, four with 1 king, two with two double beds, and 6 full ensuite bathrooms, a necessity when two people are on their honeymoon.

While looking for availability, seems like the Outlook Cabin is quite booked through the summer months.

It’s showing availability in September, at $8850 per night.

Surprisingly, it’s not the priciest cabin on the block.

The “Signature Milligan Manor,” which has eight bedrooms with ensuites, and is over 7000 sq. ft., is going for $11,800 a night.

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has a beautiful pool as well, although this is open to the public. So unless the new royals buy out the spot (highly likely), they may not be enjoying this part of the Lodge.

The closest airports to The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge are Edmonton International and Calgary International Airport, so look out for Harry and Meghan flying into one of those soon… with a ton of security, on a private jet.
