There are tons of establishments in and around the city that have opened for the first time recently, but how do you pick which ones are worth hitting up?

We’ve done the tough work for you and created this shortlist of openings you should be paying attention to — you’re welcome, foodies.

Mango Satay Slaw (Hanna McLean/Daily Hive)

MILA’s food program was developed by Red Seal Chef, Jim Vesal, who’s put together a selection of elevated yet approachable globally inspired dishes. You’ll see quite a lot of variety here. Morsels on the heartier side include the Mushroom and Sausage Tagliatelle, the Bulgogi Tacos, and the house veggie burger, a staple for any plant-based joint these days.
