New Vancouver Goldeneyes PWHL jerseys might have leaked and fans love them
New jerseys are on the way for the PWHL’s Vancouver Goldeneyes, and we might’ve gotten a sneak peek at the design.
As is usual with new PWHL teams, the Goldeneyes opted to wear one generic jersey that featured a diagonal “Vancouver” wordmark on the chest for their inaugural season. That gave the team enough time to come up with a polished design that is set to debut during the Goldeneyes’ sophomore season, which is slated to get underway in early December
There has been no official reveal of what those jerseys will look like ahead of the season, but it seems like one Vancouver sports apparel store didn’t get the memo.
Fans captured photos of two new Goldeneyes jerseys on the racks and available for purchase.

The jerseys will keep with the Goldeneyes’ colour scheme of blue, copper, and vintage white, which is oddly reminiscent of the old Edmonton Oilers palette.
However, the jerseys manage to carve out a completely unique look for the team. The home jersey sits on a royal blue base, which helps make the Goldeneyes logo stand out magnificently on the chest, much better than the wordmark ever did, while the away design does the same but with that vintage white acting as a base.
The sleeves might be the star of the show, however, as the home jersey features a unique design that switches the colour to white at the forearm with streaks of copper throughout. It’s a unique look that really brings together the team’s brand.
Fans on social media seem to agree, as the leaks were met with a lot of positive reaction.
“Those are beautiful,” said one hockey fan.
“Better than the Canucks jerseys. Fantastic colour scheme,” said another impressed fan.

“Best jerseys in the league by a landslide. Those are gorgeous,” said another PWHL fan.
“OMG THEY GORGEOUS,” another excited fan wrote.

It’s a big undertaking to design a set of jerseys for a brand new expansion team. Sometimes it can result in something that doesn’t resonate with the eager fanbase, or something that winds up looking a bit underwhelming.
The Goldeneyes team appears to have knocked it out of the park, if these indeed wind up being the official designs. Now, the wait will be on the team to officially reveal the new threads and to see how these jerseys will look on the ice.
