All the new foods coming to the Vancouver Christmas Market this year
If we weren’t already pumped for the Vancouver Christmas Market before, we definitely are now, because the list of new food and beverage offerings was just released.
The annual downtown market will run from November 20 right up until Christmas Eve (December 24) this year.
A beloved holiday tradition for locals and visitors alike, the Vancouver Christmas Market features more than 80 huts of authentic German sweets, treats, and treasures.

But there are also some new foodie offerings we’re excited to try for 2019. Here are all the new foods coming to the Vancouver Christmas Market this year.
Das Lángos Haus

This new spot will offer market-goers lángos, a deep-fried Hungarian flatbread. This dish will be served with a choice of sweet and savoury toppings like garlic spread, sour cream, grated cheese, bacon bits, jam, and chocolate spread to name a few.
East Van Roasters Kaffee & Schnappsl Haus

This popular local brands will be offering its signature Kaffee schnapps drink, made with locally-roasted coffee with a splash of schnapps.
Turkey Haus

This offering is giving us giant-turkey-legs-at-Disney vibes and we’re seriously here for it. Turkey Haus’ smoked turkey leg locally sourced turkeys are non-GMO, grain-fed, and antibiotic-free.
Two Sweet Elves

Two Sweet Elves will be serving up poffertjes and aebleskivers – aka Dutch mini puffed pancakes and mini cakes served with powdered sugar, jam, and berries.
