Vancouver’s summer concert season is fast approaching, and Canadian music legend Neil Young has just been added to the stacked lineup of acts coming to town.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will perform at Burnaby’s Deer Lake Park on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Monday, Sept. 8.
Young and his band, the Chrome Hearts, are hitting the road on the Love Earth world tour, with Vancouver and Toronto the only two Canadian dates announced so far. Tickets for the huge outdoor show go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.

The three-time Grammy winner and seven-time Juno recipient has plenty of iconic hits, including “Heart Of Gold,” “Old Man,” and “Rockin’ in the Free World.” Young is also an activist and philanthropist, co-founding the benefit concert Farm Aid in 1985.
