Oct 4 2017, 2:37 am

Over a hundred positions need to be filled for MUJI’s much-anticipated Robson Street flagship store in downtown Vancouver.

The job fair will be held on Thursday, October 5 from 11 am to 8 pm at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Positions that need to be filled include full-time department leads, part-time sales associates, and interior design and fashion specialists.

With 16,000 sq. ft. of floor space, the MUJI location within Robson Street’s former storefront spaces for the Gap and Below The Belt will be one of the Japanese clothing and household goods retailer’s largest international stores.

It will have a floor area triple any of its Toronto locations and more than twice the size of the recently opened store at Metropolis at Metrotown shopping centre, which opened to long lines that stretched outside the mall.

MUJI’s next new store for Vancouver is currently under construction, and it plans to open the location by the end of the year in time for the Christmas shopping season.
