Popular Taiwanese bubble milk tea chain Milksha has a new location in Metro Vancouver.

The brand has opened in Richmond at 6111 Number 3 Road. This is the second BC location for Milksha.

The concept opened its first North American in downtown Vancouver on Robson Street in October.

Milksha was founded in 2004 in Tainan Jiali, Taiwan, and now the chain has over 240 stores in Taiwan, Melbourne, Singapore, Macau, and Japan.

This brand is known for its signature Green Pasture Milk drinks along with beverages like the Taro Milk made with organic milk, the Bubble Black Tea Latte, and the Milksha Izumo Matcha series to name a few.

Milksha does not use dry pearls in its drinks. The brand has invested in a fast freeze technology which maintains the texture and taste consistency of each pearl.

Pearls are transported by plane from Taiwan, where the brand’s staff cooks fresh pearls daily (it takes 90 minutes per bowl to cook).

The pearls used in Milksha’s beverages do not contain any preservatives, additives, or additional colouring.
