Looks like Ryan Reynolds isn’t the only Canadian A-lister stepping up to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Canadian singer and songwriter Michael Bublé took to Twitter to relay a message — it’s time to get serious about coronavirus.

Sitting in his home in Vancouver, BC, Bublé posted a video explaining why we need to take “serious measures” to flatten the curve.

“This is not about stopping it, it’s about making sure that our healthcare system our hospitals can handle all the people that will inevitably have to have care.”

Bublé acknowledged the scary nature of the current situation but said if we really listen to our healthcare professionals “we will have a great shot at saving millions of lives.”

The Grammy-award winning artist said people should “do what they have to do” but said, “try as little as you can to go out.”

With coronavirus on the rise, Health Canada is reminding individuals who attend events and large gatherings to monitor their health for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. And if you’re not feeling well, they recommend staying home at this time. Also, due to unexpected cancellations, please check the event you plan to attend is still taking place. Keep up with COVID-19 news here.
