National treasure Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, are normally complete rays of sunshine, but this week they are proving to be even more awesome than we already thought.

The A-list Hollywood power couple announced they will be donating $1 million to food banks in Canada and the US to help low-income families and vulnerable individuals affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation will be split between Food Banks Canada and Feeding America.

In addition to this announcement, Reynolds sent a message to his followers to “take care of your bodies and hearts” and “leave room for joy.”

With coronavirus on the rise, Health Canada is reminding individuals who attend events and large gatherings to monitor their health for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. And if you’re not feeling well, they recommend staying home at this time. Also, due to unexpected cancellations, please check the event you plan to attend is still taking place.
