Someone in Metro Vancouver won the $16 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot

Someone in Metro Vancouver is $16 million dollars richer after purchasing a winning Lotto 6/49 ticket.

According to BCLC, the lucky ticket was purchased in Surrey and matched all six numbers to win last night’s jackpot.

The single ticket was the only winner from across Canada to cash in on the April 15, 2020 jackpot of exactly $16,460,052.50.

Players can check their tickets online or on the BCLC Lotto! app. BCLC will announce the specific Surrey retail location that sold the ticket once the winner comes forward.
