Metro Vancouver forecast calling for 5 straight days of sunshine

Metro Vancouver’s short-term forecast is looking bright, following a brief string of weekend showers.

According to Environment Canada, five straight days of sunshine are expected from Wednesday to Sunday.

Daytime temperatures will hit the double digits, with inland temperatures pushing 17°C and 18°C on Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday also have the potential to break historical highs of 18.5°C and 18.9°C, two records set in 2004 and 1941, respectively.

Nighttime temperatures will remain in the low to mid-single digits, with clear skies and a low around 5°C.

Be sure to make the most of the sunshine while you can though, as showers are expected to return to Metro Vancouver come Sunday night.
