Despite low temperatures and a gloomy Friday, residents in Metro Vancouver can expect sunshine across the remainder of the long weekend.
According to Environment Canada, the weather looks to be clear skies and sun, with a high of 8ºC for all three days.
The dry conditions will be especially helpful on Sunday, November 11, when over 30 ceremonies will be held to pay our respects to soldiers – past and present.
Many of the ceremonies will include a march, a tribute at an outdoor memorial, and flypasts by flight crews.
Although the weather may be sunny, residents should ensure they dress warmly. Nighttime temperatures are slowly starting to push closer to zero, so make sure you’re prepared if you’re staying out later in the day.
