Metro Vancouver residents carjacked and robbed at gunpoint

RCMP are searching for witnesses and information in relation to a carjacking that took place in the Metro Vancouver area.

The incident occurred on Friday, June 1, at approximately 9:30 pm when a vehicle with two residents was approached by two unidentified males.

The vehicle was stopped at a stop sign at Habgood Street and Pacific Avenue in White Rock, BC.

The suspect males approached the victim’s vehicle, pointed handguns at the occupants, and ordered them out.

Before driving away, they stole the wallets and cell phones of the carjacked victims as well.

The vehicle was later found in Langley, engulfed in flames. The suspects had long since fled.

RCMP are searching for two Caucasian male suspects, assumed to be in their thirties.
