Beloved Vancouver ramen joint closing at the end of the month

While Vancouver has no shortage of quality ramen spots, it’s still sad to see a long-time fixture in the scene close.

Menya Ramen, located at 401 W Broadway, has confirmed that they will be serving up their last bowl of quick, delicious, and affordable ramen on May 31.

The Mount Pleasant spot was a popular neighbourhood destination for Nagahama Ramen (popular Japanese noodle dish), tempura, and salads.

Menya staff told Daily Hive that the reason for the closure is that their chef and owner has decided to retire, but you’ve still got a few more weeks to make a date to get your last slurp of the good stuff.
