Popular downtown Vancouver chicken spot to shutter this week

Little Juke, sister restaurant to Chinatown’s Juke Fried Chicken, first opened in August 2018.

Offering similar items to the OG outpost, Little Juke was a popular destination for those craving the brand’s signature gluten-free chicken and ribs, along with new location-specific items like the drool-worthy mac n cheese poppers.

Now, the team has revealed Little Juke will officially be closing its doors on September 22.

Let’s not get too upset though, folks.

You can head to the OG 182 Keefer Street location to get your fix once the 1074 Davie Street closes, but there’s also something else coming for us in this space.

“We want to extend a very sincere thank you to all of our fans who supported us at Little Juke,” said Justin Tisdall, who opened Little Juke last year with Juke co-owners Bryan Satterford and Cord Jarvie. “Stay tuned — we can’t wait to change the dial and show everyone in Vancouver and beyond what we have in store for them.”

While we can’t share exactly what will be replacing Little Juke, we can tell you that if the Juke team is behind it, it’s going to be good.

Folks can still head into this spot for the next six days, and as an added bonus, customers who order via Foodora and DoorDash will get free delivery until Monday, September 22.

Sound like a deal to us. We’ll keep you posted on exactly what will be happening in this space, stay tuned!
