41-year-old man stabbed in Vancouver's ninth homicide: VPD

Vancouver police are investigating the stabbing death of a 41-year-old man.

According to police, the incident took place in the city’s West End. Officers responded to a report at around 8:30 pm regarding a man who had been stabbed near Thurlow and Comox streets.

He was taken to hospital but did not survive his injuries.

Police say no arrests have been made and the suspect’s identity is not known.

“VPD investigators believe this homicide was targeted and that there is no risk to the public,” said police.

This is Vancouver’s ninth homicide of 2020.
