'Lucky's Doughnuts' is launching an epic treat this week (VIDEO)

If you’re not already sitting down, be sure to take a seat because Lucky’s Doughnuts is about to release a treat that will truly knock your socks off.

The much-loved local doughnut maker is about to launch its doughnut ice cream sandwich.

Dropping Friday at 9 am at all Lucky’s locations, this new morsel is a combo of the maker’s signature fresh vanilla glazed doughnut and vanilla ice cream. Drooling.

You can get the sandwiches for $6 all summer until September starting June 21.
