L'otus Cake Boutique to open new Burnaby location December 19
Metro Vancouver’s new destination for 15-layer crepe cakes opens December 19, which means you need to get your stretchy pants out and get ready for some serious eating.
L’otus Cake Boutique announced that its second location would be opening in the Metrotown area at 4352 Beresford Street in Burnaby.
The sweet spot’s first outpost in Richmond became widely known for its signature 15-layer Mille Crêpe Cakes, made in over a dozen rotating flavours.

Folks went nuts for these delightful Parisian treats, and L’otus even has a reservation policy on slices and full cakes to ensure customers aren’t disappointed after they sold out (call one to two working days ahead of time for full cakes, and one day in advance for slices).

The original cafe, which opened in early 2017, serves more than just these famous crepe cakes.
L’otus offers Mousse Cakes, Cream Cakes, Strawberry Shortcakes, Mont Blancs, Swiss Rolls, Lotus Cakes, and even Artisan Croissants, along with carefully brewed beverages like tea, coffee, and the oh-so-Instagrammable Matcha Latte served in handmade cups.
