A Canadian lottery player woke up six figures richer after landing a Lotto Max second prize.
The recent Lotto Max draw took place on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and the jackpot was worth $11 million. The winning numbers were 02, 08, 18, 25, 27, 34, and 42, with bonus number 10.
Although no one matched the seven winning numbers to score the top prize, someone did match six of the seven numbers and the bonus number, netting themselves the second prize. As a result, the winner will take home a $140,331.40 prize after purchasing their lucky ticket in Ontario.

Prior to that, a winner from Kingston, Ont., won the jackpot during the Tuesday, Aug. 19 draw. The winner became instantly $75 million richer.
The next Lotto Max jackpot is set for Friday, Sept. 12, and the jackpot is now worth $16 million.
