Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton spotted on Vancouver's favourite path

Stevenage, U.K., native and Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton was recently spotted in Vancouver on the city’s favourite path for biking and running, the Stanley Park Seawall.
If you’re a fan of F1 racing, you’re likely no stranger to Hamilton, who has tens of millions of followers on social media. The British racing superstar has won several championships. He currently races for Ferrari and is the first and, as of 2025, only Black F1 driver.
In a recent TikTok update about his life, captioned “Life Lately,” Hamilton featured several photo slides offering slices of his life. One of the slides included a selfie of Hamilton running on Stanley Park Seawall.

During his Seawall run, Hamilton was decked out in lululemon gear, including a lululemon tank and cap. Hamilton recently became a global ambassador for lululemon, and with the ever-popular clothing brand based in Vancouver, it’s not too surprising to see the racing star in the city.
At a Formula 1 press conference earlier this month, Hamilton told the press that this was actually his first time in the city, but not necessarily the first time in the province.
“I like coming to Canada. I just enjoy it,” he said. Hamilton was in Montreal for the Grand Prix du Canada during this interview.
“I’ve always wanted to go to Vancouver, and I just came from Vancouver – it’s my first time in all these years.”
“I get to go to B.C. in the winter sometimes. I know we both share an interest in heliboarding, heli-skiing – we’ve talked about doing it together at some stage,” he said, referencing his F1 teammate Lance Stroll.
Due to his background and some of the uphill battles he has faced as the only Black driver to compete in F1, Hamilton founded the Hamilton Commission in hopes of improving diversity, specifically the representation of Black people, in motorsport.
His TikTok post garnered over 140,000 likes and thousands of comments.
