Kitsilano's new pizza joint is almost ready to open its doors (PHOTO)

Kitsilano is one Vancouver neighbourhood that’s been getting a few new foodie additions lately, and it looks like another one is happening really soon.

La Ruota’s long-awaited second location is finally gearing up to open its doors.

The Neapolitan-style pizza parlour is opening at 2002 W 4th Avenue. The other La Ruota location is in Coquitlam.

La Ruota Kits is taking over the former space of Maple Market, and it promises patrons “hand-crafted, artisan, stone oven-baked, authentic Neapolitan pizzas.”
