Metro Vancouver's new authentic Italian eatery is opening today

Metro Vancouver’s new authentic Italian eatery, La Forchetta, is officially opening its doors today.

The new Burnaby restaurant is now open at 5601 Hastings Street for lunch and dinner service.

Diners who head here can expect a selection of Antipasti such as Burrata and Calamari Skewers, along with salads like a traditional Caprese variety.

La Forchetta offers six kinds of pizzas including a spicy ‘Salame’ pie and a dozen different red and white sauce pastas, which are handmade daily by chef Manrico.

In addition to the classics, this spot has mains like Sicilian-style cod and 14oz AAA Certified Angus Ribeye up for order as well.

La Forchetta is open Tuesday to Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm and Friday to Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm.
