New Japanese tapas and ramen restaurant opens in Metro Vancouver

Japanese tapas, ramen, mazesoba, and cocktails have joined forces at Ku Tapas and Ramen, a new restaurant that has softly opened its doors in Richmond.
Located by Ironwood Plaza, the new 2500 sq. ft. space features 149 seats and has opened in the former home of Kokoro Mazesoba.
Folks can expect to enjoy classic Japanese tapas such as Ebi Mayo and Agedashi Tofu, alongside some innovative twists on classic items like Salmon Tartare, Vegan Meatballs, and Spicy Cold Chicken inspired by Szechuan cuisine. There will also be a selection of mazesoba, ramen, and rice bowls.
The team also shared that cocktails will be a focus here, offering favourites like a Spiked Milk Tea and Yuzu Sour, alongside Japanese beers and premium sakes.
Ku Tapas is currently softly opened, with a grand opening scheduled for July 25.
