The creators of Vancouver’s Hot Chocolate Festival are launching a cool new summer event

One of the city’s most popular events is the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival, a month-long celebration where multiple vendors in and around Vancouver create wacky and wonderful hot chocolate creations. Now, the team behind the same festival are gearing up to launch a summer version featuring iced chocolate creations, among many other fun sips.

Introducing Koolfest — The Summer Hot Chocolate Festival.

The event takes place from July 19 to Aug. 10 and will feature over 50 vendors serving a variety of items, including iced chocolate drinks, chocolate milkshakes, and other icy beverages such as floats, sodas, affogato-style dishes, horchata, fruit slushies, iced teas, bubble teas, and more.

A full list of vendors has yet to be revealed, but some confirmed participants include Nelson the Seagull, Bak’d Cookies, A La Mode Pie, and even the Vancouver Aquarium.
