Katy Perry returns to light up Vancouver for Invictus Games

The entertainment lineup for Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 continues to grow with the announcement that Katy Perry will perform during the opening ceremony.
Perry joins fellow superstars Noah Kahan and Nelly Furtado for the highly anticipated event at BC Place on Saturday, February 8.
Fans can also see the legendary pop star and icon Katy Perry during her Lifetimes Tour stop in Vancouver this summer.

Perry is a former American Idol judge and 13-time Grammy-nominated star who has sold over 70 million albums worldwide.
The Juno Award winner is also known for a slew of huge hits, including “Firework,” “Dark Horse,” “California Gurls” (feat. Snoop Dogg), and “Teenage Dream.”

The Invictus Games brings together veterans and current serving members, including the wounded, injured, and sick, to compete in a variety of sports. The first Invictus Games took place in London, England, in 2014 and has since grown to be a worldwide event.
Over 500 competitors from up to 25 nations will compete in the Winter Hybrid Games. The 11 sports competitions to look out for are:

- Wheelchair Basketball
- Skeleton
- Nordic Cross-Country
- Biathlon
- Alpine Skiing
- Snowboarding
- Wheelchair Rugby
- Swimming
- Sitting Volleyball
- Indoor Rowing

The closing ceremonies of the Invictus Games will also bring together some huge stars, including Jelly Roll, Barenaked Ladies, and The War and Treaty.
