Kaneko Hannosuke is officially opening on Robson Street this week

Tempura lovers, we hope you’re sitting down because Vancouver’s about to get one of the best brands from overseas.

Famous Japanese tendon tempura chain Kaneko Hannosuke is officially opening its doors on Robson Street this week.

The brand is known for its top-notch freshly-fried Tempura Donburi, aka tendon tempuras. Kaneko Hannosuke currently has locations around Japan and in the US in California and New Jersey.

The first Canadian location will be opening on Thursday, January 23 at 1725 Robson Street (right next to Yi Fang fruit tea).

The new eatery will be open Monday to Sunday from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm and 4:30 to 9:30 pm.
